Adding Credits to Your Account
How to Add Account Credits
Account credits let you prepay for text campaign costs in Notify Customers. When you send a text campaign, available credits are applied automatically before any remaining balance is charged to your credit card. Account credits are also required for using Automation features such as abandoned cart messaging.
Add Credits to Your Account
- Go to your Dashboard and click on the Account Credits value toward the top of the screen.
- Choose a credit amount:
- $10
- $25
- $50
- $100
- Then click Continue to secure checkout.
- Complete the checkout step. Shopify users will pay via Shopify. Other users will pay via Stripe.


After checkout is complete, your account balance updates and the new credits are available for future text campaigns.
Checkout Options
Your checkout experience depends on how your account is connected.
Shopify-connected accounts
If your account is connected to Shopify, you’ll review and approve the credit purchase in Shopify. After Shopify confirms the charge, your Notify Customers balance will update.
If Shopify has not confirmed the charge yet, you may see a pending status. Your balance will update once the charge is approved.
Standard card checkout
If your account is not using Shopify billing, you’ll complete payment securely through Stripe. After the payment succeeds, your Notify Customers balance will update.
How Credits are Used
Credits are applied automatically when you send a text campaign.
If your credit balance covers the full campaign cost, the campaign uses your credits. If your credit balance is lower than the campaign cost, your available credits are applied first and you’ll be prompted to pay the remaining amount by credit card.
View Your Balance and Recent Activity
The Add Credits page shows your current account balance. If you have recent credit purchase activity, you’ll also see a transaction history.
If Your Credit Purchase Does Not Complete
If a credit purchase is declined, canceled, or fails, your account credit balance will not change.
You can return to the Add Credits page and try again. If you approved a charge but your balance still has not updated after a few minutes, contact support with the email address on your account and the approximate credit purchase amount.
